Cherie Underwood – Proprietor

I am the owner of Femme Fatale beauty and skincare. I bought the salon in 2007 and I love it!

I have always wanted my own salon and have had experience in managing salons, training and education with cosmetic physicians, promotions and sales, all little steps to get me here today.

I often get asked what my favourite part of my job is, and I like it all really(sad but true) although I enjoy advanced results driven skincare and treatments such as  Ultra Resurfacing Microdermabrasion, Ultrasonophresis, TCA Peels and medical grade skincare. I love giving a solution to client concerns and seeing my clients relaxed and happy!

I have now however taken a step back and spend more time working ‘on the business’ instead of in it. After all if a business does not grow, improve and offer better service to clients then it will just fade away, and I will not let that happen.

All the girls are friendly, talented and will bend over backwards to address your needs and give you a WOW experience.
My Mum (Maureen) helps out keeping the salon running smoothly and does a lot of work behind the scenes! You will often see her behind reception too. Katie has been promoted to Salon Manager so you will often see her behind reception helping me out with the day to day running of the business.
I’ve had a little baby girl “Zoë” and am working in the salon part-time now. I’m very lucky to have such a dedicated talented team so I can be a mum too!!

I have been a part of the the ‘Femme Fatale’ team for over 4 (very quick & enjoyable) years now. I joined the team not long after Cherie took ownership and my role also now includes managing the salon which I take very seriously, so if you don’t know me already I am often the voice on the other end of the phone. Having said this my constant re-education as a therapist speaks highly of my commitment to learning the latest technologies and uniquely different styles for each individual client that walks through the door. From growing up & living in the local area I have known ‘Femme Fatale Beauty’ for many many years, and have seen it succeed and grow to where it is today. My passion for the beauty industry started at a young age, giving family and friends massages and manicures without any hesitation or inconvenience.

Originally I entered the industry for myself, as I had very problematic skin and wanted to know WHY it wasn’t getting better, WHAT the reason was, HOW to cover it up and most importantly HOW to make myself look and feel better.

Throughout my training at college and still to this day, I  have realised that I can make other people feel better too. Although now more involved in the administration side of Femme Fatale which is also very exciting, I am still there for all my clients which are first and foremost my priority. Whether it be perfecting the perfect eyebrow shape and colouring to suit the client and meet their needs, solving an underlying skin concern, or purely making them feel relaxed without feeling guilty as EVERYONE deserves and needs to have their ‘time out’ and a little sanctuary for them to escape to.

I have had extensive training at Ultraceuticals head office, one of the world’s leading post graduate skincare therapy centres and can offer you my expert advice and state-of-the-art treatments that provide maximum results in a minimum time with easy to follow skincare routine for home, catered personally for your skins maximum benefit.

My 6 years experience,  and constant re-education of my skills and knowledge, all show my commitment to you all, my loyal and gorgeous clients. I promise to give you my very best!

I joined the Femme Fatale beauty and skincare team in March 2011. From day one I have felt apart of a caring and friendly family which speaks loudly for its self. I gained interest in the Beauty Industry from the age of thirteen, and by sixteen I was fully qualified. Later I returned to college in 2008 and studied the intense Beauty course, plus Holistic Therapy.
I love being a therapist for many reasons, however it always seems to come back to one thing…… I love making people feel great!!
Everyday has something new and different to offer, which makes being a therapist such a fulfilling career!

I am the newest member of the team and completed my Diploma in Beauty Therapy at The Gre College for Scientific Beauty Culture in 2005. I have come to Femme Fatale with a mountain of experience and am extremely passionate about making clients feel good about themselves.

Dr George Kassar MB BS (SYD UNI) MRCGP – Visiting Cosmetic Physician

Dr George Kassar MB BS (SYD UNI) MRCGP  has a strong and distinguished career in cosmetic surgery private practice including corporate medical management, product development and evaluation. When not performing cosmetic injectibles, Dr Kassar spends much of his time treating bone marrow transplant recipients and much to his credit, apart from his caring nature, he is extremely precise with a needle. He lectures both in Australia and overseas teaching doctors about the importance of being accurate and precise when performing these cosmetic treatments. You are very safe in his hands. Even other doctors and medical professionals come to him for their botox!

He is one of Sydney’s most renowned and respected cosmetic physicians regularly visiting our salon performing injectible treatments including anti-wrinkle injections and fillers.. These include Botox (now TGA approved), Restylane, Perlane and LIPP Perlane.

Client Testimonial: ‘I currently have Botox, and I think it makes me look several years younger. Usually when I try to judge someone’s age, I look for wrinkles around their eyes, but the Botox has gotten rid of those lines, as well as the lines in my forehead and between my eyes. I thought it would be years before I’d consider Botox (I’m 33 now). Many of my friends are patients of Dr Kassar’s and were having botox for a good six months before I decided I had seen enough to get the treatment, as I had not seen a single bad reaction.
